Vitamin Guide 4U was created to provide a clear, accurate, and independently verified reference for vitamins, minerals, and essential nutrients. Whether you're trying to understand a supplement label, a student studying nutrition, or just curious about what's actually in your multivitamin, we're here to help.
Every entry in our database is a chemically real, independently verifiable vitamin, vitamer, or nutrient — not an invented name or a compound marketed under vitamin branding without meeting the scientific definition of one. We deliberately exclude substances like "vitamin B15" (pangamic acid) and "vitamin B17" (amygdalin), which are not recognized vitamins and, in B17's case, carry documented health risks. You can read more about why in our guide to vitamin myths and pseudo-vitamins.
We believe good nutrition information should be accessible and understandable without hype, exaggeration, or invented data. Our goal is educational clarity, not supplement sales.
Vitamin Guide 4U is developed and maintained by Phillistine Records, an independent creator studio building web-based educational tools and reference guides. Questions, feedback, or corrections are always welcome — see our Contact page.
